Wire Person / Electrical Fitter
Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Job Type: Contract – Approx 12 weeks, potentially longer
Salary: £15.00 per hour / £585 per week
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.45pm & Friday 7.30am – 12.30pm
We are currently looking to recruit for a Wire Person / Electrical Fitter for a temporary contract, initial up to 12 weeks but could go longer.
In this role you will be required to undertake:
- Installing any electrical components i.e. circuit breaker, PLCs, fuses, power suppliers etc.
- Complete wiring of the panels including crimping, terminating, stripping wires etc.
- Test and inspection
- Reading and working from schematic drawings
The successful applicant will:
- Have a previous background working within Panel Wiring / electrical machine wiring on in an industrial environment
- Be able to read and work from schematic drawings
- Ability to pick things up quickly
- Be willing to learn and have a 'can do attitude’
This role would suit an individual who has:
- Previous Electrical experience
- An Electrician looking to move away from site work into an industrial environment
- Maintenance Electrician
