Production Operator
Job Location: Cwmfelinfach (on the Nine Mile Point Industrial Estate)
Job Type: min 12 month contract with permanent opportunities
Salary: £13.21 per hour with lots of overtime paid at £17.56 and £19.81 per hour
Hours: Standard 4 DAY WEEK! 37 hours per week, Monday - Wednesday 7am to 5pm & Thursday 7am - 4pm
Overtime: There is up to 10 hours of overtime available as required and will be completed on Fridays and occasional Saturday mornings.
Overtime is paid at £17.56 and £19.81 per hour
A leading engineering company is recruiting a Production Operator for their manufacturing facility at Nine Mile Point Industrial Estate, Cwmfelinfach.
The role will see you working as part of a small team undertaking the printing of information and designs onto metal and plastic products.
This is a varied role that will see you operating a wide variety equipment and machines to help manufacture products.
Some of your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Weighing, measuring out and checking materials to ensure that manufactured products contain the proper weights and materials.
- Updating and keeping records materials used within each stage of the manufacturing process.
- Perform in-process testing and visual checks to ensure products meet the specifications.
- Operating various machines.
- Keeping the work areas clean and tidy.
- Working together as part of a team to meet manufacturing demands.
Requirements:
- Machine operating, production, engineering, moulding or printing experience would be advantageous
- Full training will be given
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work and read from instructions
- Can work well as part of a team but also under your own supervision
