Mechanical Inspector
Job Location: Poole, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent position
Salary: Up to £17.94 per hour / £673.07 per week / £35,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm & Friday 7.30am – 1pm

A well-established engineering company based in Poole are looking to recruit for a Mechanical Inspector on a permanent basis.
The role will see you inspect all goods in, goods out and various engineered parts and assemblies.
This is a busy and pivotal role for the company.
Duties will include;
- Inspecting manufactured and bought-in parts/ components
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometres and callipers
- Work from process instructions and engineering drawings
- Identify and report any quality concerns or non-conformances
- Maintain accurate records
As the Mechanical Inspector, you will possess;
- Previous experience of mechanical / quality inspection
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Confident at using measuring equipment
- Any previous experience of using an CMM is advantageous but not essential
